Nash Hauling & Excavating, Inc. is a family run corporation.  We have been in business since 1952.  Locally owned and operated.  Serving the Greater Richmond Virginia area for over 50 years. 

Melvin L. Nash, Sr. started this company with just a small tractor and a dump truck.  Today, under the leadership of his son, Melvin L. Nash, Jr., the company has over a million dollars of trucks and equipment.

Mr. Nash ran the company until 1987 from Mechanicsville, Virginia until he turned over management to his son.  In 1989 Melvin Nash, Jr. incorporated the business.  In January 2005, Melvin moved operations to the current location at 11305 Virginia Crane Drive in Ashland, Virginia.

Nash Hauling & Excavating, Inc. performs construction activities in residential and commercial applications from clearing land, site work, grading, excavating, installing storm sewers and earth moving.

We have worked with Eagle Construction of VA, Centex Homes, Bain-Waring, Liberty Homes, Atack Properties, Norman Company, Thomas J. Wack Companies, R. J. Leipertz Company.

We have performed work at Cross Ridge Subdivision in Glen Allen, VA, Allied Concrete Products in Chesterfield, VA, Rolling Hills Subdivision in Mechanicsville, VA, Bethel Baptist Church in Chesterfield, VA, Hunters Ridge Industrial Park in Ashland, VA.
